RELIGION
Many Religions are practiced because it is fairly international due to large airports and harbors. The most commonly practiced religion is Christianity (Anglican and Roman Catholic are common)
CUSTOMS & TRADITIONS
Sydneysiders (as they call themselves) like to keep the city clean. Some of the major holidays are Australia Day on January 26, Anzac Day to remember those who have died in the war, the queen's birthday, and Labour day which is observed on the first monday of october each year.
LANGUAGE
English is their official language. The english has an australian dialect to it. some words unique to this dialect are, mate, oz, and ace. “Most people speak English to each other but some speak Chinese, Italian, or Greek.
ARTS & LITERATURE
Sydney Opera House was created in 1973 as an arts center to house opera concerts, ballet shows, plays, and more.
ECONOMIC SYSTEMS
Australia has a Free Market Economy. Anyone can sell whatever they want unless it has been copyrighted or it is illegal.
GOVERNMENT
Australia has “Federal parliamentary state” with two legislative houses.
SOCIAL ORGANIZATION
Most families in Sydney have nuclear families. Average native Sydneysiders live in better conditions than average non-native immigrants in Sydney
